Arrival in Negombo
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to a comfortable beach hotel in Negombo. Unwind after your flight with a stroll along the golden shoreline and explore the bustling Negombo fish market, one of the most vibrant in South Asia. Enjoy a welcome seafood dinner by the beach.
Negombo to Pinnawala & Sigiriya
Depart for the Cultural Triangle with a stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can watch herds of rescued elephants bathing and feeding along the Maha Oya river. Continue to Sigiriya and settle into your hotel surrounded by the ancient jungle landscape of the dry zone.
Sigiriya Rock & Minneriya Safari
Climb the spectacular Sigiriya Rock Fortress in the morning, ascending through the Lion's Paw gateway to the summit palace ruins with 360-degree views of endless green canopy. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling jeep safari in Minneriya National Park, renowned for its gatherings of hundreds of wild elephants around the ancient reservoir.
Polonnaruwa Ancient City
Explore the remarkably well-preserved medieval capital of Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kandy to Horton Plains
Depart early for Horton Plains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage cloud forest perched at 2,100 meters. Hike the 9.5-kilometer trail to the dramatic World's End precipice, a sheer 880-meter drop with views stretching to the southern coast on clear days. Continue past Baker's Falls through misty grasslands where sambar deer graze.
Horton Plains to Yala
Descend from the highlands to the sun-baked lowlands and Yala National Park, one of Asia's premier wildlife reserves. Yala to Galle Fort

Drive along the picturesque south coast to the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, a beautifully preserved 16th-century Dutch colonial fortress. Wander its atmospheric streets lined with art galleries, spice shops, and heritage cafes, then relax on the beach at Unawatuna.
Galle & Departure
Enjoy a final morning exploring Galle Fort's ramparts at sunrise, with sweeping views of the Indian Ocean. Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport via the Southern Expressway, reflecting on 10 remarkable days of nature, wildlife, and heritage across this extraordinary island.
